The site is small – just 26 pitches on the main site and 9 pitches on our non-electric field – so you’re never that far from the facilities. Every pitch on the main site has an electric hook-up (newly installed in 2021). Our pitches should comfortably fit a tent, one car and a small awning. However if your tent or awning is very large please let us know as some pitches may not be suitable.
We have a fully tiled shower and toilet block, undercover dishwashing area, a small launderette and a freezer for your use. There is also central play park and a covered play area where families can relax and enjoy themselves.
In 2020 we launched our small shop, The Mine – where you can get everything you need for full english breakfast, plus tea, milk and things you may have forgotten like toothbrushes and shower gel. Our freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat are a big hit – we recommend pre-ordering the night before. We are licensed and sell wonderful Cornish products such as Rattler Cider, Award winning Cornish Aval Dor Vodka and Pocket Full of Stones’ Caspyn Gin, made just a few miles up the road. So, why not pop down the Mine and see what we have!
We offer fresh coffee, croissants and pasties (made to order). Visit the Mine shop for details.
We welcome motorhomes, but please ensure you have booked a hard-standing pitch and note that we do not have water hook-ups or drainage points – although there are drinking water taps around the site and a chemical toilet. (campervans do not need to book hardstanding).
Treglisson is ideally placed for exploring the north and south coasts of Cornwall, for visiting St Ives, Penzance and St Michael’s Mount. The area abounds with charming fishing villages, gardens, market towns, craft centres, galleries, country inns, historic tin mines and breathtaking coastal walks.
The surfing beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy are a five minute drive away. There is a short golf course and driving range within walking distance and the RSPB reserve at Hayle Estuary is close by.
